Nokia has announced it is taking on the Lonely Planet .mobi service as a part of their leading-edge mapping tool.
Created for Lonely Planet by Em Space's Simon Hobbs, the Drupal features allows users to download Lonely Planet's famous travel books to their mobile.
Backpacking will never be the same again as the well-thumbed guide in the back pocket can be replaced with your phone. Finding maps and accompanying travel information including hostels and eateries has never been easier.
